The San Juan del Sur Spanish language school is located in town at just a couple of blocks from the beach in one of the quietest streets in San Juan del Sur.
The school staff is very friendly and will make you feel relaxed. Some of them speak English when it is necessary. Jahaira Jimenez is the local school Director. She has a lot of experience in the organization of the language program and in the Spanish teaching methodology.
In the school you will not only learn Spanish, but also much about the history and culture of this amazing country.
Class size is small, mostly one-on-one according to the Spanish level of the students. The teachers are young and dynamic. Classes start every Monday all year round but they can start any day of the week depending on the participants’ arrival date. Class instruction is run for four hours per day with short breaks, five days a week Monday to Friday. Conversation and grammar are combined during the Spanish sessions.
For those who want a more intensive Spanish course, there is additional extra cost individual tutoring available in the afternoons upon request.

Accommodation and food is available in the school site. There you will meet and interact with other students from many countries and diverse culture around the world.
The lodging offers private rooms with private bathroom, Wi-Fi, fan and three meals per day Monday to Friday.
This is an optional lodging for students who prefer more privacy and independent living instead of the lodging at the school. Lovely San Juan del Sur offers lots of competitive lodgings such as small hotels and a good number of nice hostels, B&B and private apartments.
Students who choose this optional lodging will have the school local Director´s assistance if needed.
This lovely seaside town has been blessed by nature! And there is a lot to do in town and around! Along this Ocean coast, nearby there are the most beautiful beaches in Nicaragua where you can enjoy fishing, surfing and camping.
There are also canopy tours, sea turtles and whale watching tours available; you can practice hiking, horseback riding or just swimming and then lying on the beach or relax in a hammock and enjoy staying in this tropical paradise.
Every Thursday evening, there is a cultural activity that takes place in one of the most popular restaurants located beachfront in town where traditional dancing and live music is performed in a nice ambiance.
Lots of fun! Despite that the school does not provide afternoon excursions, the local Director is available for making the connection with tour providers in town.
